Good Ideas Lose Out When They Come Out Wrong

  • You're fine one-on-one, but in a bigger meeting you hold back.
  • You have a big presentation coming up and you're already thinking about it.
  • You know what you want to say, but it doesn't come out the way you planned.

“Earlier, even in a team meeting, I was hesitating whether to speak or not.”

It gets better when you practise in front of real people and someone tells you what to fix. That's what the course gives you.

Books, Videos And Speaking Clubs Only Get You So Far

  • Books explain what good speaking looks like, but nobody is watching you practise.
  • Videos are easy to watch at home. Speaking in front of real people is a different thing.
  • Speaking clubs give you regular chances to speak, but the feedback comes from other members, not a trainer.

Here's how they compare with a trainer-led course:

FAQs

What People Ask Us First

I'm fine one-on-one but I freeze in front of a group. Why does that happen?
Because they are different skills. One-on-one you read the other person's face and adjust as you go. In front of a group that feedback disappears, and your brain fills the gap with worry about being judged. It is the single most common reason people come to us, and it responds to practice, not to reading about it.
Is this the same as Toastmasters?
No. Toastmasters is a club where members give each other feedback. This is a taught course: 12 weeks of weekend classes, a trainer who watches you speak and tells you what to fix, and 5 practice sessions of three hours each. Both get you on your feet. The difference is who is giving you the feedback.
Can a fear of speaking actually be fixed, or is it just my personality?
It is a skill gap, not a personality trait. People who freeze are usually short on reps in front of a room, not short on ability. What changes it is speaking often enough, in front of real people, with someone telling you what to adjust.
How long before I actually sound different?
You speak in every class from the first one, so feedback starts immediately. Most people notice it themselves around the practice rounds, when they watch their own recordings. We will not put a number on it, because it depends how much you speak.
I have a big presentation in three weeks. Is there time?
If it is next week, a three month course is the wrong tool. Come to one class for ₹149 and tell the trainer what you are preparing for, and you will get direct feedback on it. If the presentation is one instance of a longer pattern at work, the course is built for the pattern.
Do I have to be in Gurgaon?
For this course, yes. It runs in person on weekends, because the whole thing depends on standing up in front of a real room. If you cannot travel, the 8 week online course covers the same ground.
Will this help me get promoted?
We will not promise that, and be careful with anyone who does. What is true is that most people in the room are 5 to 20 years into a career and came because communication was holding them back in meetings and reviews. The course works on that part.
